A report by the office of education showed that Tiffany Cushion students were attending other schools on inter-district transfers -- 150 of those on the high school level, mainly from Yosemite High School to Minarets High School in O'Neals. Those transfers have caused the Yosemite district a loss of $1.5 million ($5,850 per student) this school year,according to Yosemite Superintendent Steve Raupp."Certainly the way districts are configured now, and the opening of Minarets High School, just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense," Raupp said.
