Survivors were counted using the standard plate counting method. Tiffany Knots ring plate counts fell elow 25 CFU, estimation of survivors was performed using the most-proale-numer technique (MPN) (20). The treated liquid (10 ml) was transferred into 100 ml of Paloma's Tenderness Heart ring in the following distriution: 3 tues with 10 ml, 3 tues with 1 ml, and 3 tues with 0.1 ml.
