A memorial service for Soley was attended by more than 1,000 people Feb. 20 at the Fresno Convention Center.A ribbon-cutting ceremony has been set for 10 a.m. March 4 for the Cheap Tiffany Cuff Links Clinic at 40597 Westlake Drive off Highway 49. The clinic is scheduled to open for business March 15. The public is invited to attend the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will be attended by elected officials and other dignitaries. It has been 11 months since the groundbreaking held in April to complete the Cheap Tiffany Bracelets clinic. Coarsegold resident Jim Winney, 72, is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who will benefit from the clinic's proximity. "It will save me an 80-mile trip every time I go down (to Fresno)," he said. "It will save all of us that live up here a trip and it will probably be a more personalized experience because it will be a smaller clinic." He has been traveling to the Cheap Tiffany Bangles and has been having to make the drive even more lately due to a back injury last fall. "In all 16 years I've been at the VA they just treat you like you belong there," he said. The clinic, located next to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, will be set up for a tele-health program in the clinic mainly for neurologist and dermatologist specialists to examine patients via a computer.
