Rotary Club President Fern Links of London Bangles was pleased with the event and thanked the community and the businesses of the Mountain Area for their continued support of the event. "We realize times are tough, but the community continues to come out for this event Links of London Bracelets the businesses provide more and nicer prizes each year for the raffle." About a third of the evening's profits are generated from the raffle. The menu for the event has not changed in 25 years. The crowd put away 1,400 pounds of crab, 70 pounds of pasta, 60 pounds of green salad, Links of London Charms loaves of French bread and five sheets of cake for dessert. Bob "King Crab" Brosi was assisted by 40 club members and 40 members from the Yosemite High School's Interact (Rotary) and Links of London Earrings who served during the evening. More than 100 items were donated for the night's raffle, including dinners from area restaurants, pet supplies, hotel stays, jewelry, spa treatments, automotive tools and services, movie tickets, wine baskets, home and garden decorations and many gift certificates to businesses. The event raised about $15,000 for Yosemite High School scholarships, youth programs and other community service projects. Sierra Tel was the platinum sponsor of the event and Yosemite Bank, a division of Premier Valley Bank, was the gold sponsor. Silver sponsors were Sears of Oakhurst and Big O Tire Center.
