Teddy Charm in need

"She was one of the most generous people you would ever want to meet, The Man On The Moon Charm thinking of the other person and how she could contribute or help them," MacAlpine said. When the couple first moved to the Mountain Area, they were both involved in community service, making their home a haven of hospitality for family, friends, church activities, potlucks, home groups and retreats, according to Teddy Charm. "They built that home for that very reason," she said. When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, the Williamsons hopped in their motorhome and spent a couple months offering a helping hand to those in need before returning to the Raindance Silver Pendant Area, MacAlpine said.Bob Todd, a 30-year Bass Lake resident, still remembers when he first brought Jim and Sandy Williamson into the Bass Lake Boat Club in 1986 when he was club commodore. "They were very active in the Raindance Necklace in the Pines and attended church every Sunday," Todd said. "They did a lot of ministering and were always helping people. They were active with all the youth activities at the church including Vacation Bible School." Todd said he was the recipient of the couple's caring when he lost his wife in November 2001. "I might not be here today if it was not for them," he said.
